Yendif Player

When creating a menu item and select Video layout, the page title does not display.

How can I display the page title? See demo page at intra.janadians.com/media-centre/videos.html

Kindly enable PAGE_HEADING in menu params.

Our 1.1.0 version had some issues on this. If you're using 1.1.0 version, kindly upgrade to our latest 1.2.0 version.

To upgrade, just download & install the latest version over the top of your existing installation.

Installed version 1.2.0 and enabled "Show Page Heading" in the Menu Item Parameters.

The only thing that displays is a RSS feed icon, which I have not enabled. How can I get he Menu title to display on the page and also disable the RSS feed icon?

Are you using VIDEOS layout ?

I just noticed this issue in our VIDEOS layout.

Solution :

- Open {root} / components / com_yendifvideoshare / views / videos / tmpl / default.php

- Search for, <h1> <?php echo $this->item->name.' '.$this->buildRSS(); ?> </h1>

- Replace it as <h1> <?php echo $this->params->get('page_heading'); ?> </h1>

- That's it. Save the changes and check at your front-end.

Yes. That did resolve it, partially.

it will show the Page title, but only if I insert a title in the "Page Heading" field of the "Page Display" option within the Menu item Parameter. I can live with this, but other persons may prefer to call the actual menu title.
