Watching directly on YouTube, you can press likes to increase YouTube recommendations. Or increase the number of YouTube views. If I watch videos imported from YouTube in Joomla 4, will it increase YouTube's recommendations or views?

Sorry. Technically, YouTube updates the views count on their website only when the video is initiated using their red play button. But, when you add your YouTube videos using our "YouTube" source type, the videos are played using our custom video player. With this method, the views count is NOT updated on the YouTube website.
But, instead of using our "YouTube" source type, add the YouTube embed code by selecting the "Iframe Embed Code" source type. With this method, we simply display the standard YouTube player and the videos are initiated using their red play button. So, the views count is updated on the YouTube website too.
