Just a quick question: if somebody views a video on our site which has YouTube as its source, does that count towards our YouTube views?

I'm assuming so, because playing embedded YouTube videos usually does incremement the view count in my experience, but I just wanted to confirm this is so.

You can add and play YouTube videos in our component using two methods:

1. Using "Source Type" as "YouTube"
This method leverages our custom video player to display and play YouTube videos.

2. Using "Source Type" as "Iframe Embed Code"
This method embeds the native YouTube iframe player directly into your site. Since this uses YouTube's native player, it ensures that views are counted on YouTube's platform. Keep in mind that YouTube only updates view counts if the video is played using their official red play button. Therefore, this method contributes to the video's view count on YouTube, while the first method does not.
