At the moment when adding of videos is granted to front end users all the options, such as uploading , youtube etc are offered. It would be good for admins to be able to select which methods will be made available in the front end.

I use a component called easy-profile: www.easy-profile.com
It uses the Joomla user manager.

Is there any chance you can provide a plugin that shows the user videos in a tab on the user profile?

Actually, we planned our next version by the first week of August. But, it's getting delay as we are adding some more options like Advanced SEF URL, Prior publishing, etc ... to the release.

I assure our next version will be released by September and this release will have the option to restrict video adding method. If you need this immediately, kindly mail me your server FTP access details to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. and let me know which options you like to allow and dis-allow. So, we can customize this for you.

Regarding user profile videos tab,

As I promised already, I have added your suggestion to our TODO list. But, the option is not coming in our next version itself.
