does the joomla template override machanism work with the new version?
any chance that you looked at the Joomla-user profile integration?
easy-profile does only extend the Joomla user manager with additional fields so it in case you decide to code a plugin it would work also with the joomla user profiles in general (as far I understood this correctly).

"Yendif Video Share" strictly follows Joomla's MVC architecture. So, all versions of "Yendif Video Share" supports Joomla template override mechanism.
Our latest version allows you to control video adding methods. You can find the related config options under Components => Yendif Video Share => Global Configuration [User Settings]
