I was reading the section on configuring the player globally but it does not mention where the code (ie. in which file and where the file should be located) should be placed. Can someone please elaborate and maybe give an example?

The player library files( JS, CSS ) and configuration code( yendifplayer.config ) should be included at </head> of all the files in where you use our player markup ( ie. <div class="yendifplayer">...</div> ).
