Yendif Player

Hello,
on my site this extension always worked well but from some days i have this error: Unable to play media. Media format is not supported.
They are all videos from YouTube.

Any idea?

Recently, YouTube stopped supporting their FLASH API and this is the reason the YouTube videos are not working in your website.

Kindly download the latest PRO version from your account in our website and install it over the top of your existing installation.

Then, go to "Components => Yendif Video Share => Global Configuration". Find the config option "Engine" and change it to "HTML5". Save the changes and try now.

The component was already on html5.
I loaded everything back but the problem remains.the same.

Probably a jQuery conflict with some other plugins in your website. Kindly email us your Joomla! admin & FTP access details to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. to check and fix this.

I have the same issue on my site, though a slight difference.

I have two pages using Yendif, one using a player, the other using the categories module.

Our home page, using the player, gives the error "unable to play media...", while the page using the categories module plays the same videos without error.

I see you're using "Modules Anywhere" plugin and add our player content inside your Article page. Instead, kindly try using our Plugin shortcode yendifplayer.com/joomla-video-share-player-plugin.html
