Adding Yendif Music Share to your Joomla Menu
Using the Yendif Music Share component there are nine view options available.
1. Genres Layout
Show genres (sort by latest, date added ...)
2. Artists Layout
Show artists (sort by latest, date added ...)
3. Albums Layout
Show albums (filter by genre, artist, featured and sort by latest, most rated ...)
4. Songs Layout
Show songs (filter by genre, artist, album and sort by latest, date added ...)
5. Add New Album [user menu]
Registered users can add/edit albums
6. Add New Artist [user menu]
Registered users can add/edit artists
7. Add New Song [user menu]
Registered users can add/edit songs
8. My Playlists [user menu]
Registered users can manage a songs playlist
9. My Favorites [user menu]
Registered users can manage a favorite albums list
To display one of the component views,
- Login to your Joomla admin
- Navigate to Menus → Your_Menu and create a new menu item.
- Now click the Select button of the Menu Item Type option. This will give you a list of types and under the "Yendif Music Share" title in the popup window, you will see the list of available component views. Just select a view for your menu Item.
- After you have selected a view option, you will be directed to the screen that allows you to configure the menu item and edit the menu item parameters. These parameters change from menu type to menu type.
- Save the menu item. Now go to the front end of your site and refresh the page. Your new menu link for the Yendif Music Share component should be available.
