Requirements
Before installing Yendif Music Share, please ensure your Joomla installation meets the following requirements:
- Joomla 2.5.X (or) Joomla 3.X
- PHP 5.3 or higher
- JQuery 1.7.1+
Installing Yendif Music Share
The installation of all Yendif Music Share is the same as other Joomla extensions and can be done through the Joomla extension manager.
- Log into your Joomla admin
- In the top menu , Select Extensions -> Manage -> Install -> Upload Package File from your Joomla Admin.
- Under Upload Package File, click Browse and select the component that you downloaded from your account. Then click Upload & Install
When the component has been uploaded and installed successfully, you will receive a confirmation message.
Congratulations, you have just installed the Yendif Music Share component, modules, and plugin!
What next? How does it work?
- Login to your Joomla admin
- Select "Yendif Music Share" from the "Components" menu. You should see several submenus related to the component as listed below,
- Control Panel – Component dashboard which gives an overview of the last added artists, albums, songs, etc...
- Genres – Menu in which we create genres
- Artists – Menu in which we create artists
- Albums – Menu in which we create albums
- Songs – Menu in which we upload and manage our songs
- Ratings – Menu in which the album ratings are listed.
- Global Configuration – Configuration menu of the component
Step 1: Adding genres
All your songs and albums must be grouped under a genre. So, the first mandatory step is to create a genre. Genres are added only by admin. Read more

Step 2: Adding artists
The next mandatory step is to add artists for your albums and songs. Artists can be added by both admin and users. Read more
Example: MICHAEL JACKSON, AKON
Step 3: Adding albums
In Yendif Music Share, songs are added to albums. So, we create albums now. Like artists, albums also added by both admin and users. An album must contain a genre and artist. Read more
Example: BAD, THRILLER
Step 4: Adding songs
Finally, we add songs & videos to our albums. A song must contain an album, genre, and artist. Songs can be added by both admin and users. Read more

Step 5: Configuration
This is the final step in component back-end after adding songs. This section allows you to "style the player", "enable or disable player controls", "configure front-end display" and more. Read more
Step 6: Deploying to the front-end
We have created genres, added artists, albums and songs. Now, this is the time to show the music gallery in site front-end for the user experience.
