Adding HLS / M(PEG)-Dash / RTMP Streams in Yendif Video Share
Yendif Video Share is capable of playing Real-Time streams with protocols like RTMP and RTMPE.
Check the steps below to add your HLS / M(PEG)-Dash / RTMP Stream
1. Login to your Joomla admin
2. Select "Components --> Yendif Video Share --> Videos --> New"
3. Enter "Title" for the Video
4. Select the "Video Type" as "HLS / M(PEG)-Dash / RTMP"
5. Enter your HLS URL in the "HLS" field.
Example: https://mnmedias.api.telequebec.tv/m3u8/29880.m3u8
6. Enter your M(PEG)-DASH URL in the "M(PEG)-DASH" field.
Example: https://bitmovin-a.akamaihd.net/content/playhouse-vr/mpds/105560.mpd
7. Enter your Server URL in the "RTMP Server" field
Example : rtmp://server_ip_address/application_name
8. Fill in the "Stream Name" field with your actual video file name
Example: stream.mp4
9. RTMP Stream can be played only in flash-supported browsers. So, we provide an optional input field that allows adding your Progressive MP4 video file path. Fill in the "Mobile Fallback Video" with your alternate video file path.
10. Check this link to complete the remaining fields.
11. Click "Save" at the top of the page.
12. Congrats, You have successfully added an HLS / M(PEG)-Dash/ RTMP Video.
